Revolution 20-20 book review by "chetan bhagat ".                                

      

"Chetan bhagat "who doesn't know the Chetan Bhagat, he is an Indian author columnist and entrepreneur.and he is one of the most influential person in india.He had more than 12 books out of which 9 are novels whereas 3 are non-fiction work.

Revolution 20-20 ,his one of the classic and masterpiece ! It was published in 2011 in various languages.

GENRE : Novel,politics,romance and fiction.

It is one of the best book i ever read !🙌It is a must read book for you all.i highly suggest to give it a try one.

So,let's dive into the story 👇

Basically,the story is all about love triangle set in the  varansi.A story about childhood friends gopal,raghav and Aarti who struggles to find success,love and happiness in varanshi.

Gopal the narrator and the main protagonist around whom the story revolves ,is a son of a poor school teacher .one day ,he steals from the lunch of Aarti on their first day of class V.Aarti complains about that to her teacher.and teacher make gopal to stand out of the class and also to apologise to Aarti.But somehow the very next day when she ask the reason for stealing ,he told that his mother is dead and his father is not well enough to prepare tiffin for him.that's why he did this.To this Aarti felt very sad and offer her lunch and friendship to gopal.They two are friends now and in their "teens",when gopal realises he is in love with Aarti.but unable to articulate them yet .he often tried to confess about his love but she rebuffes !

Meanwhile,gopal and his friend Raghav are both preparing for "engineering entrance exam ".but they both are not interested in it.Raghav wants to emerge herself as "journalist" whereas gopal wants to be a "rich man".and when result was proclaimed ,raghav score very good score whereas gopal didn't make enough to get into any engineering college.gopal father was mournful ,as he worries about his future.but later on,his father somehow manages to send him kota for one more try for entrance exam.where he felt homesick and "miss most his love Aarti" he can't get rid of her .He everytime kept on thinking about her .

             After 1 year...

He finds out his love Aarti is in love with another guy ! And that is none other than "Raghav" his childhood friend.This breaks his heart apart and meanwhile his father "died " after getting know that gopal still cann't clear out the entrance exam.Being a heart patient he can't beae it and died.

And then gopal meets a "corrupt MLA, starts his own "college"on his father acres of land.whereas raghav takes job  as a reporter for local newspaper.Raghav being very idealistic reporter tries to end the corruption in india and wants to bring revolution till 2020 .They conflict with each other .and during that Aarti devolp feeling for gopal.And further things takes place.

Will gopal gives it into the system,and raghav fights it ,who will win ?

The language of the book is lucid .one can easily feel the characters in front of their eyes.Dialouges are soo good.

The only thing that makes the book readable is fast -paced story.and the plot twisting at any instance you never know.

It's a mind blowing book loaded with scandal,corruption in education system and love triangle.

         This is a must read book !
